Igor and team are by far the most reliable and conscientious movers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.In the course of operating a property staging business the team moved our furniture into no less than 30 times. I also had them move me personally three times.The guys they hire are great and come with a soft touch. They are always thoughtful to neighbors and building staff.Paperwork is submitted on time with no errors.Trucks come on time and equipo with every size moving blanket known to man kind.What can I say. These guys are the best in NYC.Note: they cannon move you to Massachusetts. They only work within the tri-State area.

My wife and I moved here long distance from the West Coast and had all of our things packed by an elite moving company there. Our concern was that on the receiving end the movers would not be so careful. But, to our delight, all of our items were handled with care. Not that we think that everything is so “precious”, but the last thing you need when you’re moving across the country is to arrive to the stress of broken or missing things. Our friends in Brooklyn had moved with Moving Your Way a year or so ago and said they had no problems at all, so we were happy to see that all our items were unpacked with care and in a decent amount of time. Of course, you sometimes have to contend with the challenges of snow and slush, which was our welcome to New York City! But, the movers didn’t seem to be set back significantly at all. These guys are great! Used them twice in the past two years. They show up on time, are incredibly efficient and careful with your belongings. I have no hesitation in recommending them. They were prompt to reply to scheduling emails, showed up on time, moved things quickly but carefully, and were nice and easy to work with. They also handled fragile items like computer and sports equipment with ease.We would definitely work with them again.

Moving Your Way were fantastic! The movers came exactly on time and got to work right away. They were efficient and polite and were able to move us out of our two bedroom apartment and storage unit into a house without trouble. Their estimate for timing and cost were accurate. I would highly recommend this company and they were worth every penny.
My husband and I have moved a number of times and have NEVER received service like we did with Moving Your Way. They went so far above and beyond what was expected; they were professional, efficient, very careful and friendly. I spoke to Igor initially for the quote and, not only, was he straightforward and very clear what was included, but also he dealt with us having to change dates due to issues at our new apartment. He was always extremely responsive and accommodating. Sasha, Timur and Oleg were the team we had for the move and all of them were very professional, extremely hardworking and friendly. They did more than we could have asked for and the price was very reasonable for such fantastic overall service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Hired this company to move my studio to a new apartment 7 blocks up north. I got what I paid for. The only bulky items were the queen sized bed (with metal bed frame that has been dismantled by me and packaged) and several Home depot extra large boxes. Everything has been properly packed and ready to go when the mover showed up. I was quoted for minimum 3 hours with 3 men for $360. The move was from a 2 flights walk up to a building with elevator. I myself moved 90% the personal items to the ground floor to facilitate the move and only leave the bulky things for the movers. Two movers showed up to the apartment and one is manning the truck downstairs, but only ONE guy moved all the heavy things down the stairs, well, moving is not the most accurate description, it is more like, dragging, sliding, pushing..I was surprised that they didn't use any tools moving stuff downstairs, just brute force and let the gravity does most of the job.Within 1 hour 24 minutes, the move was fully completed. I tipped the guys 18% and to my surprise, the lead guy told me that it is not enough because they only earn 15 dollar per move and they fully rely on tips. He pushed for more money while I was signing for the paper work and asked "can you give me more so each of us can have a decent amount?" The lack of professionalism and the blatant and shameless way they conducted themselves is unacceptable. You get what you paid for.
At first, everything was fine. My wife and I packed everything and moved at least 60+% of all our items down 2 flights of stairs without help. When they showed up they immediately started moving things. Well, they dragged, slid and pushed our boxes down the stairs and out the door. Then, after tossing dragging and sliding, rather violently at times, into our new place the nonsense happened: not once, not twice, but three times their point person asked us for a bigger tip. And let me make this clear, we tipped the first time, then he asked for more, we gave more and then...you guessed it, he asked for more. At that point, I told him he had some serious hanging fruit and gave him more money. We booked them for 3 hours (their minimum) and knew it was a proactive type of situation where you do much of the work. That's fine. That's what we wanted. However, watching them was like watching a bunch of inexperienced teenagers move our stuff. No dollies, no team work, no nothing. Put the big box on the ground, drag, push, and scrap it over to the stairs and then get in front of it so you can let gravity do the work as it clumps and thumps down each step. Real pros here. While this was happening, I was running up and down loading boxes into the truck myself to keep things moving. It took 1 hour 25mins to be COMPLETELY done. As in, they walked into our place at 12:15pm December 13th and we were being asked for the third tip at 1:39pm. That is well under the minimum payment for 3 hours. His reasons for soliciting more and more from us was that his guys don't get paid more than $15 for each move and they rely on tips. He wanted at least $20/person (4 people total). Now, I fully agree with giving gratuities having worked hospitality for 20+ years and living off tips myself, but I busted my butt for those tips. We did at least half the work, helped get it done in almost a third of the time we paid for up front and then you have the audacity to tell us how little you get paid. Sounds like a load of horse manure to me. Basically, if you hire these guys, be ready for a minimum of $20/person tip in addition to your cost; which is fine if they provided quality service. They did not.
Amazing job! They did absolutely everything and put everything where I wanted it. They told me al I had to do was relax! They were on time, friendly, efficient, and extremely quick! I was having some issues with my cat and my door and they helped me handle both. Truly above and beyond!!! I am so glad I picked moving your way 😊
We just used Moving Your Way and could not have been happier. All of our belongings arrived undamaged at the destination address, movers helped us arrange the furniture in the rooms and unpack larger items, which were boxed up. Very reasonable hourly rate and they worked fast, so we came slightly under our budget; a win-win all around. Definitely recommend!

We moved three days ago. I was going to use a different service but asked MYW for a quote based on a recommendation from a friend who has used them twice. Their pricing was very fair, well below the other company (who was super rude when I called to cancel). I hadn’t moved in a few years but it was more in line with what I expected. Anyway, they arrived about a half hour early to get set up with my building. They were very efficient but careful (I’m almost done unpacking and nothing is broken or missing). I brought my wedding and engagement rings over in my purse but that’s just smart (I was more worried about misplacing them than about theft). I think I tipped them pretty well, they were appreciative. Just note that they want payment in cash the day of. Igor may have told me that, it’s entirely possible he did and I just forgot because we had a very stressful and last minute move. So I had to run around a bit getting cash but it was fine. Very happy with this experience!
Horrible experience. They showed up 2 hours early only to start packing for me, which I did not want. Conveniently, my wedding ring and 4 pairs of earrings went missing. They denied everything. If you use them and they show up early tell them to wait and pack all valuables yourself.
They helped us load our 1 bedroom apartment into a 15 foot truck! We were given an accurate quote over the phone... they asked all the right questions to make sure we got exactly what we needed. (2 movers for 2 hours, and it ended up being just that!) Excellent service. They are great to work with. And best price... I did a lot of research, and was so pleased to find them and not feel ripped off! Especially since we were just requesting help to load everything up. I would highly recommend them!
